Visual discourse phase two: I move away from the coarseness of political dialogue, and embrace making art with quiet conversation. I change base material from encaustic wax because of the toxicity and begin exploring cold wax. I want to loosen-up from the minutia of assemblage. I take stock of what is around me, in my garage and my collection of things. I wondered if construction fiber, wire or nails are art objects. Is there a conversation to be had over ordinary materials or objects? Is there discourse in the mundane?
There is no conforming category but a few emerging trends as I explore: small, ordinary objects (squared), texture on a surface (scapes), abstract forms (movements), and exploring dimensional objects and other oddities (divergence).
